Breeding Mare & Foal

BREEDING MARE AND FOAL is especially developed for gestating and lactating mares and their foals.

MARE & FOAL contains a variety of flaked cereals (spelt, barley and maize) and a tasty protein concentrate with all the vitamins and trace elements necessary for lactating and brood mares.

MARE & FOAL is also enriched with a pre-biotic, product type FOS, and pro-biotic, product type FAP, to optimise the intestinal flora equilibrium for optimal condition of the mare and growth of the foal.

MARE & FOAL has the ideal calcium/phosphorous ratio and high protein level making it suitable for lactating mares and the bone and muscular development of the foal in its first months of life.

Usage

Quantity:

Gestating mares: 0.50kg per 100kg live weight per horse per day from the 8th month of gestation onwards. Lactating mares: 0.75kg per 100kg live weight per horse per day. Foals: provide ad lib from the mother’s feed bowl from day 10 onwards.

Density:

1 litre BREEDING MARE & FOAL weighs approximately 500g.

Additives/kg:  Vitamin A 17000 IE, Vitamin D3 2100 IE, Vitamin E 230mg, Copper (II) sulphate pentahydrate/copper 24mg.

Feed Ingredients:  barley flakes, wheat bran, maize flakes, soya bean hulls, alfalfameal, sunflower seed extraction meal, small wheat bran, malt sprouts, spelt flakes, molasses sugar cane, soya bean heat treated, limestone (calcium carbonate), beet molasses, soya beans extraction meal heat treated, sodium chloride, monodicalciumphosphate, milkpowder skimmed, wheypowder, vegetable oil, magnesiumoxide.

 

Always supply sufficient forage and fresh water.
